HOW TO GET AROUND

► PUBLIC BUS TRANSPORT
Bus tickets can be obtained from the bus driver (15 kunas), at kiosks (S ticket - 12 kunas), at the Libertas Company ticket-windows at Pile, Bus Terminal and in Mokošica, at hotel reception desks and tourist agencies.

► IN YOUR OWN TOWN
Several petrol stations are situated by the access road to- and in Dubrovnik, some of which work 24 hours.
If you wish to go to the Old City in your own car, we recommend you to park at the Public Garage at Ilijina Glavica, which is only a 5 minute walk away (www.ragusaparking.hr).

► TAXI SERVICE
Upon entering a taxi, the taximeter must be turned on with the initial (start) value of 27,00 kuna. If the taxi meter is not running, the customer is not required to pay the fare. Each additional kilometre costs 9,00 kuna. Up to 4 people can ride in a taxi. The fare for waiting is 150,00 kuna per hour, and 2,00 kuna for each piece of luggage. In case of complaints against the taxi services, it will be useful to ask the driver for a receipt with a valid stamp, the description of the service, and the vehicle registration number.

► GOING ON FOOT
The entire Old City is a pedestrian zone. Walking along its streets you will over and over again discover a new detail carved in stone, a new chapel and a secluded lane. From any other part of the city, even the remotest one, you will easily walk to the Pile or Ploče Gates - western and eastern entrances to the Old City - in half an hour.
